Faction Fix: Kinect...anticipation??? - FFX00008

October 10, 2010

Who drugged me and put me into a reality where someone gives a @#$% about Kinect???  It looks like that Gamestop and Newegg.com have already sold out of pre-orders.  As GI suggests, this HAS to be a result of a lower supply being shipped to retailers as a result of the bad press.

Whatever the case may be, I hope whoever purchased this cow dung of a peripheral has their unit malfunction worse than the original 360's, and shoot shrapnel all into their goofy faces as they jump around like a bunch...

Faction Fix: PS3 Online FAIL - FFX00005

October 10, 2010

The worst thing plaguing the PS3’s base growth, is the less than mediocre online experience.  That experience took an even bigger blow in March of 2010.  As reported on G4TV.com, an apparent enhancement reportedly, disabled the Playstation Network, effected offline play, and even bricked some consoles. Whoa.. not good.

To make things even more peculiar is that this hiccup only affected PSP fat systems.  This would include the covenant 60GB checha01 (PS1 PS2 backwards compatible) units.  Goo...

As reported on G4tv.com, Peter Molyneux is stating that “There’s some very, very big things happening in Fable…. and it’s going to really going to upset people. I’m really scared.”

Now there are many things that gamers are speculating this could be: 100% Natal integration, 0% Natal integration, multi-platform???  To us, the mere mention of it pisses us off… Whatever it is, this news will be released at the X10 event which will be hosted by Microsoft February 11th 2010.

Fable 2 was...

Faction Fix: Let's get ready for..... X-ball??? - FFX00003

October 10, 2010

As reported in the New York Times, Xbox is rumored to be in talks with Walt Disney regarding a Live ESPN Streaming service.  It is also rumored that this would be a subscription per user service that has not yet been finalized.  The possible “ESPN 360” service’s fee may be embedded in the Gold subscription service, or could be an additional charge – who knows.  If made possible, ESPN 360 could allow live streams of sports and news directly to the 360 console.

The problem we see is the...

Faction Fix: You finally got a PS3 because of What??!!?? - FFX00002

October 10, 2010

Whoa whoa whoa….. We normally DO NOT do this, however, this deserves a featured response from the Faction...  Anyone who visits IGN can be treated to an article from Ryan Geddes, Feature’s Editor for the site. In a recent editorial, he explains why he finally broke down and personally bought a PS3.  Although he begins to give some superficial, but arguable reasons why (unreliable 360 hardware, FF XIII) – I respected his original points. I did so unaware of the TRUE reason in which he wa...

Faction Fix: Outivision - FFX00001

October 10, 2010

As reported in the Times of London, back in June 19 2009. Activision CEO Bobby Kotick warns that if Sony doesn’t apply a price cut before the year end 2009, they would have to question whether they will continue to support the PS3.  Kotick cites this decision is based on the cost for developing on the system, as well as the lackluster unit sales for the console.

“I'm getting concerned about Sony; the PlayStation 3 is losing a bit of momentum and they don't make it easy for me to support t...
